Nikki Coleman is an accomplished theologian, educator, and ethicist with a diverse range of experiences, including roles as a Senior Chaplain Ethicist in the Royal Australian Air Force and a Research Associate at the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence. Her educational background includes a B. Theol in Theology and Theological Studies, a Doctor of Philosophy in Military Ethics, Defence Policy Analysis, a Master of Education in Education Design, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. She has held numerous research and teaching positions at prestigious universities such as UNSW Australia, Yale University, and the Australian National University. She has also served as a Minister in the Uniting Church in Australia.

With a focus on ethics and healthcare, Nikki has contributed extensively to various areas such as bioethics, military ethics, and genomics. She has consulted for the Department of Health, served as a member of the Chief Medical Officer's Clinical Advisory Committee on Lyme Disease, and acted as a Stakeholder Consultation Forum Facilitator for the National Health Genomics Policy Framework. Nikki has also been the President of the Lyme Disease Association of Australia.
