I spent a few weeks working in the Legal and Business Affairs department at Universal Music Group. I was given experience sitting in on meetings and calls, whilst working on various market research projects and contractual work.

I spent time with different heads of departments such as Strategic Marketing, A and R, International Marketing, Business Development and Live Events. These meetings allowed me to gain valuable knowledge of the different aspects of what it's like working for Universal Music Group.

I worked as an intern in the marketing division working on and learning many aspects of the division. I have assisted on events such as All Payments Expo, Front End of Innovation, Omnishopper and more.

I often worked in social media marketing; writing and having many blogs published online for various websites. I have written blogs on many different topics ranging from payments innovations, discrimination towards women in STEM professions, advertising for the Superbowl as well as many more. Examples of blogs can be sent on request. From this I was approached to write a guest post for Ogilvy marketing site.

I was responsible for the promoting of YoungOnes in Newcastle whilst a student and designed and sold team specific onesies for the Newcastle Ladies Netball club. I also hosted and helped to organise a sponsored event in Newcastle. This event brought together a lot of students and there were free giveaways and general promotion of YoungOnes.

I worked for two months working as a paralegal for New Street Solutions doing due diligence work before going back to university. This involved looking through contracts checking for any errors or problems. I also was responsible for looking through case files and putting all the documents in the correct order to make it easier in the future for the associates and partners to access specific documents.

I helped to advertise, run and organise many events that were put on by EMAP. I worked primarily for EMAP Networks and went to Berlin for the World Retail Congress where I helped meet and greet a lot of key speakers and was responsible for running errands for many different conference rooms and helped with the running of the event. I also went to Barcelona for the World Architecture Festival where I was promoted to running two presentation rooms where different architects (including the famous Zaha Hadid) were presenting their newest projects in order to try and win various awards. I was in charge of making sure the presentations ran smoothly, on time and keeping the architects happy. I helped to organise the first Global Fashion Awards. I also assisted with various smaller events.
