Randy "Laz" Gordon, Colonel (USAF), PhD
Randy "Laz" Gordon is an accomplished senior commander and experimental test pilot with a background in military and business leadership. Holding a Doctorate of Philosophy in Strategy from the United States Air Force School of Advanced Air and Space Studies, he has also studied Disruptive Technology Innovation & Business Entrepreneurship at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, as well as Executive Education at Harvard Business School. Prior to his current role as 412th Test Wing Vice Commander at Edwards Air Force Base, he has also served as Director of the USAF/MIT Artificial Intelligence Technology Accelerator, Strategic Initiatives Director / Test & Evaluation Lead at AFWERX, and F-22A Raptor Combined Test Force Director / Commander / Director of Flight Operations / Test Pilot. Additionally, he has nearly 3000 flight hours combined in various military and civilian aircraft, including the F-22A, F-15C/E, F-16A/C, A-10A/C, and Bombardier BD-700 Global Express business jet.
