Alex Montas is an accomplished business leader and marketing expert with extensive experience in brand, acquisition, and growth marketing. Alex is particularly interested in the intersection of brand and performance marketing, and focuses on acquisition, retention, and general management, especially in subscription and other consumer-supported businesses.
Alex has a diverse educational background, having studied Digital Marketing at General Assembly, Business in Brazil at Fundação Getulio Vargas, and Business in Spain at IESE Business School. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and an MBA in Marketing/Strategy from New York University, as well as a degree in Front End Web Development from Thinkful.
Throughout his career, Alex has held various marketing and business roles at Verizon, Bloomberg, and AIG, among others. He has also worked as a consultant and market research analyst, applying his skills in marketing strategy, performance marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, paid acquisition, brand marketing, growth marketing, audience development, e-mail, reporting, and analytics.
Floating his experience is the fact that he was a Summer Associate Brand Manager at Mars, owned a grocery store, and worked as a consultant project leader at Barro de Medellin.
