Nathan Kipp

Nathan Kipp is an experienced and friendly software engineer with a strong focus on front-end development.

With nearly two decades of coding experience, Nathan currently works at ServiceNow in Chicago, contributing to the development of enterprise business workflow software using a mix of JavaScript and Java.

In his previous role, he utilized React and Node to create polished client-facing UIs and is well-versed in various front-end libraries.

Outside of work, Nathan enjoys working on personal projects, honing his CSS skills, exploring new ECMA features, and experimenting with the latest front-end frameworks.

Before transitioning to the corporate world, Nathan spent over 15 years as a successful small business owner with a passion for soccer coaching.

During his time as a collegiate soccer coach, Nathan combined his coaching expertise with software development skills to launch a SaaS business called TEAMDesktop, catering to college coaches' recruiting needs across various sports.

Nathan's coaching career included positions at renowned institutions like UNCG, Duke University, Columbia University, St. John's University, and professional teams such as the Chicago Red Stars, Boston Breakers, and New Jersey Sky Blue.

His background in physics and mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro adds a unique dimension to his versatile skill set.

Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at ServiceNow, Nathan has previously held roles at Signal, Ahold Delhaize, and various coaching positions in the soccer domain.

His ability to seamlessly blend technology with coaching has allowed him to stand out and excel in both fields, showcasing a talent for collaboration, service, and leadership.
