Thatcher Bell is a highly experienced Managing Director at Gotham Ventures with a wide range of skills and expertise. He has worked closely with prominent Gotham portfolio companies, including Sailthru and Widetronix, and led DFJ Gotham’s successful investment in SinglePlatform.
Thatcher is an accomplished graduate of The Wharton School and Cornell University, where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He also co-founded Coventure, an organization that helps startups grow and thrive, and is a former Visiting Instructor at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management. Thatcher previously chaired Ny Tech Alliance, an influential industry organization, and served as an Investor and Board Observer for numerous innovative companies, including Love Stories TV, Giphy, and Verterra.
At Gotham Ventures, Thatcher leverages his extensive experience and knowledge to help companies achieve their full potential. He is particularly focused on companies in the technology, digital media, and energy sectors. Thatcher is also an active mentor and advisor for Techstars and other startup programs, providing valuable guidance and support to young entrepreneurs.
