Erin Tormey

Erin Tormey is a seasoned entrepreneur and community leader with extensive experience in founding and directing non-profit organizations, as well as running successful businesses. Erin holds a degree from University of California, Santa Cruz, and has since dedicated her professional life to promoting sustainable agriculture, education, and community building. She is the founder of Coastside Farmers Markets, which provide fresh, locally sourced produce and other goods to the community, and was the founding advisor of The Heal Project, a non-profit that promotes healthy eating habits and environmental stewardship in education. Erin has also founded Coastside Ag Cooperative, a collective that supports small farmers and connects them to consumers and wholesale buyers. Previously, Erin served as the executive director of Cabrillo Education Foundation (aka Back to Basics), a non-profit that focuses on improving education and supporting teachers in the Half Moon Bay area. Erin's organizational skills and business acumen are apparent in her past work as the owner of Coastside Conference Company, which specialized in event planning and management. As an experienced facilitator, Erin has also served as the guest programs coordinator for the International Association of Museum Facilities Administrators (IAMFA).
