- Order picking has long been identified as the most labour-intensive and costly activity for almost every warehouse; the cost of order picking is estimated to be as much as 55% of the total warehouse operating expense. So, almost every warehouse focuses on optimizing this activity and other factors related to it. Already, different teams were working considering different practices in China. After getting introduced to their current work, I started reading various research papers and kept discussing with my team and my professor. This helped them in improving their current work regarding optimization of mean order throughput time in a warehouse and help them get better results. Studies related to existing models was done and idea related to implementation in their current model were discussed.  Due to lack of time there was not much considerable output but I got interest in the work and continued to do after that in my B.Tech final year project.

According to WCQ Level, there should limited amount of millipore values for oil galleries and water galleries. accidents take place due to presence of burs and chips formed during machining inside these galleries. To improve this, a multinozzel manifold was structured to clean burs and remainings from injector holes, plugs and valve guides. Structure consisted of 3 horizontal pipe network, 22 nozzles, 1 valve and 1 inlet. These burs are not easy to remove so a proper amount of pressure is needed to clean them. For that 5 to 10 bar pressure motor was used.
