Paul Golding is a British engineer and creative technologist with an impressive history of patent-granted achievements in silicon chip design, IoT software, and AI/ML systems. He has authored technical books and has founded multiple innovation labs in the United Kingdom and Silicon Valley. Paul is a specialist in novel signal processing architectures, computational aesthetics, and computer vision. He has also extensively used AI/ML and signal processing to build a variety of solutions. His areas of expertise include NLU, NLG, OCR, CV, and pricing optimization. With a rare "Extraordinary Ability" visa due to his foundational contribution to mobile technology, Paul has taken on roles as Chief Scientist, Head of Blockchain and AI R&D, Chief Design Officer and Co-Founder at multiple companies. He helps architect the world's first mobile app framework and invented the mobile portal for Netscape via Lucent Technologies.
Paul's educational background consists of a First-Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Reading, and a Part-time MPhil/PhD. in Mobile Virtual Reality and Fuzzy Logic AI from the University of Southampton. Paul is a keen amateur philosopher and has been working on a 'gravitational theory of thought' as a cognitive meta-model for knowledge management. Besides homeschooling his children, Paul enjoys cooking, gardening, and carpentry.
