Data mining is the process of discovering useful patterns and trends in large data sets. Predictive analysis is the process of extracting information from large data sets in order to make predictions and estimates about future outcomes.  Humans and companies are inundated with data in most fields. Unfortunately, most of this valuable data, which cost firms millions to collect and collate, are languishing in Data-warehouses and repositories. In my role as Data analyst/ Data scientist I take up the responsibility to translate all of this data into knowledge and useful analysis.

Facilitating and monitoring the functional implementation of Enterprise systems (e.g. Oracle Ebs Suite) or other software, focused on Supply Chain modules. Below summary highlights the main responsibilities:• Setting-up business goals and responsibilities: the ability to discuss with the client to setup business goals and business rules that will be accomplished throughout the technical implementation.• Setting-up and coordinating Agile Sprints: The ability to setup, discuss and anticipate that each Sprint - including its Technical implementation with agreed business requirements and business rules - is Released within the agreed due date and without issues.• Supporting in UAT test: The ability to conduct UAT meetings at the client’s location after the Release of each Sprint. Part of this responsibility is to show demos of the new functionalities, portray a business case, etc.• Coordinating Refinement session: The ability to setup the refinement presentation and discuss with the team the stories within the Sprint. Part of this responsibility is to assess workload correctly and anticipate whether the deadline of the Sprint Release is attainable.

Ensure the supply of spare part items from the factories to the central warehouse within the Aftersales market. As this is a 'Make-to-stock' environment, it is the role to find a correct balance to maintain the right level of inventory and to maintain the right service level.In order to achieve this the following tasks were performed (but not limited to):- Hands-on role by analysing & reporting on backorder-/critical items to support the factories what requires priority in the assembly line processes and what requires priority in the distribution to the central warehouse- Hands-on role to ensure that purchase orders were delivered according to schedule- Anticipating on correct parameter-setting in the ERP system so that the system is able to correctly support in decision making (e.g. purchase requisitions, etc.)- Monitoring on KPIs within the supply chain and take actions in case of necessity
