Mark McSherry is a Cisco Network Engineer/Architect and current Routing & Switching CCIE with a breadth of experience in wireless LAN installations, Cisco ISE, and Aruba Clearpass. As Director at IPTel Solutions, he oversees network designs and installations, with the ability to handle the most complex assignments from surveys to large scale designs and commissions. In the course of his career, he has held several positions such as Technical Consultant at Queensland Health, Network Designer at Ergon Energy, Network Engineer at Sparq Solutions, Network Manager at Foreshore Ltd, and Internet Planning and Development Manager at jersey telecom.

He studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Hautlieu School, achieved 7 O Levels, 1 CSE, 4 A Levels, and later obtained a BEng in Electronic Engineering at the University of Reading.

Mark's specialties include Wireless Design and Architecture, CenTrak Location Tracking, Cisco Design and Architecture, Networking, and Documentation. During the early years of his company's growth, he developed wireless architecture for Queensland Health, including detailed designs and configuration guides for wireless services, such as voice, data, eduroam, BYOD, and biomedical.
