Jerry Smith is an experienced political risk and crisis consultant, specializing in leadership capability development and management of threats from chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) materials. He has provided expert consulting services to blue-chip corporates, national governments, international non-governmental organizations, and the United Nations.

Jerry has a rich history of risk management, resilience, and crisis response within the UK civil service, the British Army, and the Private Sector. He has worked in over forty countries on four different continents, even in non-permissive environments.

Jerry's impressive educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Management, a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining Engineering, and postgraduate diplomas in Weapon Effects on Structures. He also holds Institute of Explosive Engineers membership and is a visiting fellow at Cranfield University.

Jerry is recognized globally as an expert in arms control, WMD counter-proliferation, and verification, disablement, and initial removal of CBRNE materials. His role in these fields saw him awarded an OBE for service to international arms control in 2015.
