Deborah Bakker

Deborah Bakker holds a Master of Environmental Studies (M.E.S) from Dalhousie University and a B.Sc (Honours) in Chemistry with Environmental Science from Western University. She was a Killam Scholar during 1997-1998 at Dalhousie University. With an extensive educational background in environmental studies and chemistry, Deborah has excelled in various roles within the environmental sector. Currently, she serves as the Senior Chemical Evaluator at Environnement et Changement climatique Canada. Previously, she has held key positions such as Manager and Project Coordinator at Brinkman Earth Systems, Regional Program Liaison Officer at Environnement et Changement climatique Canada, Research Analyst at Nexalogy Environics, Interim Deputy Director at Développement et Paix, Development Officer at Canadian International Development Agency, and Communications Officer at International Institute for Sustainable Development.
