Jenny Gyllander
Jenny Gyllander is a prominent entrepreneur with an extensive background in marketing, community building, and visual merchandising. Her journey started when she studied economics and business administration at Hanken Svenska handelshögskolan and went on to pursue master's degrees in Management and International Design Business Management from ESADE Business & Law School and Aalto University, respectively. She also studied visual merchandising arts at Prakticum and completed her Matriculation examination in Gymnasiet Svenska normallyceum in 2010.
Gyllander's experience involves working in various industries, including retail, marketing, design, and venture capital, to name a few. She has worked with multinational companies like H&M and Miltton as a visual merchandiser and showroom assistant, respectively. She was also the Chief Marketing Officer at Slush and a VC and Community Builder at Backed VC, where she supported emerging startups. Additionally, she was a Board Member at Startup Foundation and a Columnist at Courier Media.
Currently, she is the founder and CEO of Thingtesting, a platform that showcases and reviews consumer products. Through her venture, she aims to help people make informed buying decisions by providing them with trustworthy information.
Despite living in the USA, Gyllander has roots in Finland and Sweden, where she spent most of her formative years. Her multicultural perspective and diverse experience have allowed her to thrive as an entrepreneur, marketer, and strategist.
