Channing Vidal has over 7 years of experience in Higher Education, currently serving as Director of Student Conduct & Community Standards at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. With a passion for creating a safe and inclusive collegiate environment, Channing's expertise lies in emergency response, crisis management, and adjudication of cases of student misconduct.

Channing has earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from Siena College. Prior to holding his current role, Channing has served as Student Conduct Manager at Coastal Carolina University and Resident Director of University Place at Coastal Carolina University as well as a Resident Assistant at Siena College. Additionally, Channing has worked with electronic programs such as Housing Director, Judicial Officer, and Maxient Conduct Manager.

As an Account Manager at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., Channing displayed an excellent understanding of emergency protocols and procedures. He has participated in a 24/7 on-call duty rotation, making himself available as the point person for the entire University campus at all times. Channing's professional experience has prepared him to provide students with the guidance and education they need to make informed decisions both in and out of the classroom.
