Dorien van Alphen is a multi-faceted industrial designer, engineer, and creative professional. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design Engineering and a Master of Science in Integrated Product Design from Delft University of Technology, as well as a Master of Science in Engineering and Policy Analysis from Harbin Institute of Technology. With expertise in circular economy, international entrepreneurship, and development, her diverse experiences and knowledge have honed her skills in design research, prototyping, and graphic design. She has worked in various organizations, including Alskar Design BV, Dent BV - I.o.T. Product design, Studio Molen, EDS-Casting & Forging BV, and Holland Haptics. At Dent BV, she has held a range of positions, including COO, Lead Design Engineer, and Operational Manager. Additionally, she has worked on freelance projects and internships, such as Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology and RAW Art Fair Rotterdam. In all of her roles, Dorien has shown an excellent ability to manage operations, implement innovative design solutions, and develop creative concepts that meet clients' needs.
