With a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Riverside and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran, Shokoohi-Yekta has a diverse and impressive educational background.
Throughout his career, Shokoohi-Yekta has held a variety of positions in both academia and industry, including Instructor of Continuing Studies at Stanford University, Data Scientist at Apple, Research Scientist at Samsung Electronics America and Bosch, and Research Consultant at UCLA. With extensive experience in data science, machine learning and artificial intelligence, Shokoohi-Yekta has made significant contributions to the fields of natural language processing, change point detection, time-series analysis, deep learning and Bayesian inference.
