Lewis Painter is an experienced games and technology journalist with a knack for reporting on the latest rumors, reviewing the latest tech products, presenting and editing videos, and live blogging various events. With a 2:1 degree in BSc Television and Broadcasting from the University of Portsmouth, Lewis started his career running a technology blog called The Strand before moving to IDG, where he is now a Senior Staff Writer at Tech Advisor and Macworld UK, two of the leading technology brands in the United Kingdom.

At IDG, Lewis writes a variety of articles, including explainers, how-tos, and reviews, while also advising readers on a range of products in the market. Lewis has also edited a myriad of videos, including a documentary and a music video. Lewis has experience working in different fields, from being a Junior Account Executive at Spark Communications (UK) and a Sales Assistant at schuh, to a PR & Social Media Intern at iHELP World and a Resident's Assistant at the University of Portsmouth.

Lewis has a good education background, having studied BTEC National Media - Moving Image and achieving a Double Distinction Merit at Leyton Sixth Form College, as well as passing GCSE English, Maths, Science, French, ICT, Citizenship, Religious Studies, and BTEC National Media Studies with all A-C's at Kelmscott School.
