Marie Duranteau is a biotech analyst at Sofinnova Partners, a European venture capital firm that invests in early-stage biotech and medtech companies. With a strong background in integrative biology, physiology, and cellular and developmental biology, Marie holds a PhD in cellular biology and has extensive experience in academic research. Her area of expertise includes the role of the kinase BubR1 in the control of mitosis and prevention of aneuploidy. As part of the Capital Fund team at Sofinnova Partners, she helps researchers and clinicians bring their technology to the clinic. Prior to her current role, Marie completed internships, post-doctoral research, and research internships at leading academic institutions such as Institut Jacques Monod/CNRS and Institut Cochin.
