Carl Thorpe

Carl Thorpe is a well-rounded individual with a diverse background. He pursued a BA and graduate work in English at Texas A&M University, where he also worked as a Graduate Assistant in the English Department. Carl has a passion for education and has taught English at both the 6th and 7th-grade levels in Bryan ISD's Stephen F. Austin Middle School. He has also served as a Numeracy Specialist at College Station ISD's Forest Ridge Elementary, where he instructed students in mathematics. Carl has additionally worked as a Computer Lab Instructional Assistant at the same institution. His ability to multitask and navigate diverse workspaces is impressive, having worked as a Child Protective Services Investigator with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services before his stint in education. His technical skills were honed during his time as a Student Technician at Texas A&M University's Computing & Information Services. Carl's expertise in English, education, child welfare services, and technology positions him as an asset to any organization that needs a multi-talented individual.
