Thiago Macieira

Thiago Macieira is a double-degree graduate in Electrical Engineering – Telecommunications from the University of São Paulo, Brazil, and École Centrale de Lille, France, through the TIME Double Degree Programme with a scholarship from the French government.

He holds an MBA from Université Paris Dauphine and the Institut d’Administration d’Entreprises of the Université de Paris-Sorbonne-Panthéon, sponsored by the Renault Foundation.

Thiago has extensive experience in conceiving, developing, implementing, and maintaining computer programs and networks, with past roles at Trolltech ASA and Nokia until September 2008.

He is an active developer in the KDE Project since 2001, maintaining core project libraries and contributing significantly to MeeGo since its inception.
