Janis Lippman is an experienced real estate professional based in Boston, Massachusetts. After a successful 20-year career in the theatrical industry, she transitioned into real estate in order to pursue her love of New England architecture. Janis is passionate about working both with buyers and sellers, but especially enjoys helping first-time home buyers find their dream home.

Originally from Fair Lawn, New Jersey, Janis moved to Boston in 1979 to study Business Administration and Management at Northeastern University, where she received her Bachelor's Degree. She has also lived in Israel for six months and has traveled extensively throughout Europe.

Janis' impressive professional accomplishments include serving on the board of The National Association of Gay and Lesbian Real Estate Professionals and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors Technology Committee. She specializes in working on renovation, new construction, and condo conversion projects, utilizing her excellent negotiation skills to ensure her clients get the best deal possible.

Janis is a Senior Vice President and Realtor, ABR for the Ellen + Janis Real Estate Team at Compass, and has previously worked as a REALTOR, ABR at RE/MAX Destiny, REALTOR at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Director of Operations at Clear Channel Entertainment, and Theatre Manager at Citi Performing Arts Center. In addition, she has previously served as President of the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition, demonstrating her dedication to giving back to her community.
