Alison Houghton is a driven and passionate communications specialist with years of nonprofit experience under her belt. She graduated from Rider University with a Journalism major and is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Drexel University. Alison has a proficiency in social media relations, fundraising, event planning, and content creation. She formerly worked at Reconstructing Judaism, Connecting the Pieces, and Temple Sinai of Dresher, PA, where she honed her skills in nonprofit event planning, communications, community outreach, and public relations. Alison also has experience as an AmeriCorp tutor and interned at the American Red Cross Greater New York, Crispus Attucks Association of York, YWCA York, and Alpha Dog Advertising LLC. Additionally, Alison served as Publicity Chair for the 2015 Walk Now for Autism Speaks for the NJ chapter and worked as a Freestyle Staff Writer at Lancaster Newspapers.
