Donghoon Shin is a graduate student of Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a talented and curious individual with extensive experience in neuroscience research, signal processing, and embedded system design. Donghoon enjoys using DSP/optimization methods to solve complicated neuroscience problems. He is a versatile individual who has acquired his bachelor's degree in both Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Computer Engineering from KATIS and Georgia Tech, respectively. Donghoon held several academic positions at Georgia Tech, including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. His previous work experience includes working as a Digital Signal Processing Research Scientist Intern at Samsung. Additionally, Donghoon served as the Vice President of the Student Council at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
