Steve Lowe is an experienced electrical and firmware engineer with a diverse background in product development. Lowe has a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University. With a particular focus on low-power implementation and complex product form factors, Lowe has had significant experience leading engineering teams from concept development to production and post-launch manufacturing support.

Before founding Igor Institute, Lowe was the Electrical Engineering Program Lead and a Senior Electrical Engineer at Synapse Product Development, where he developed expertise in designing products across various markets. Lowe’s passion for collaboration across disciplines has led him towards projects where everyone works together towards a common goal. Prior to his time at Synapse, Lowe was an Electronic Designer at The Robotic Chair, a Systems Engineer Senior at Lockheed Martin, and an Electrical Engineer at Cornell RoboCup.
