Davis Shaver is a seasoned software engineer and advocate of WordPress with a passion for writing and publishing on the side. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from Penn State University and also studied at The Lawrenceville School. Davis has worked in several notable organizations during his career, including Alley Interactive, Fusion Media Group, Philly.com, Inquirer and Daily News, and Digital First Media. He was the Founder of the Philadelphia Publishing Company, where he served as a Senior Software Developer with the responsibility of leading all digital products and solutions for the company. Davis' skills have been honed by various experiences, including being a Technology Strategist/Producer at Digital First Media, a Teaching and Learning Technology Fellow at Penn State, a General Manager of Onward State at Lazerpro Digital Media Group, and a Creator and Publisher at onwardstate.com. Additionally, Davis was a Junior Fellow at King's Academy and a Freelance Reporter at Lebanon Daily News.
