Takada has a track record of success in new market penetration, product divestitures, and strategic alliance building. He is the founder and President of TIPharms & Company, Co., Ltd., a pharmaceutical consultancy specializing in R&D planning, outsourcing, technology transfers, alliance, licensing, and development of marketing solutions. Takada's notable achievements include successfully negotiating and closing an $80 million product divestiture deal for Pfizer Japan (formerly Wyeth) and overseeing product licensing, strategic alliance building, APIs, and regulatory affairs as the Head of the Regional Office (Japan) at Takeda (formerly Nycomed). Takada's expertise in developing market-entry strategies for Japan has helped several global pharmaceutical companies penetrate the Japanese market successfully.
