Ian Asbjørnsen is an accomplished filmmaker, entrepreneur, writer-director, cinematographer and editor with a substantial career in the film and entertainment industry. He completed his MFA in Film and Television Production in Directing and Producing at the University of Southern California and has received the International Cinematographers Guild Scholarship Award. He is the founder of Capstone Film Lighting, a boutique grip and lighting rental house in LA. Ian has interned at Panavision's Light Iron, during post-production of "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" and "Total Recall", and has directed music videos that premiered nationally on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, played on rotation on mtvU, and have been featured on several online sites. He has written two feature film scripts, "The Indigo Children" and "Infinity Ring," and is currently working on a science fiction novel. His non-traditional background, passion for filmmaking, innovative ideas and vast experience in film production make him an essential asset to the entertainment industry.
