Waldemar Krebs is a seasoned and respected business development professional with over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry. He holds a Dr. rer. nat. in Atmospheric Physics/Air Traffic/Climate from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and has studied European Research Course on Atmospheres (ERCA) at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I). Additionally, he holds a Dr. in Physics from Ludwig-Maximilians Universität München and a Dipl.-Phys. in Physics from Ulm University.

Throughout his career, Dr. Krebs has held various roles in different organizations across the industry, including former GIS and Geospatial Sales & Marketing Consultant at wkrebs.com, former Business Development Consultant - Remote Inspection Solutions at Munich Re (Group), former Senior Account Executive at cloudeo, former Flight Project Manager for Disaster Aerial Imaging Flights in the Caribbean at Munich Re (Group), and numerous other positions.

Presently, Dr. Krebs serves as the Business Development Director at XSun, where he heads the global Business Development and helps clients in Environment, Forestry, Insurance & Safety, Cadastrial Agencies, Energy & Critical Infrastructure, Transportation, Satellite Data and Aerial Imaging and LiDAR Survey. He offers an array of services to clients, including but not limited to Business Development, Sales & Sales Support, Channel Management, Support in finding channel partners in Asia, Africa, Australia & Europe, Marketing Studies, Technical Consulting on Geospatial Data, Soft- & Hardware, Support on Search for Aerial Imaging and LiDAR Partners or Satellite Data Providers, UAV’s and UAS, and European Drone Regulation.
