Derek Tan is a prominent entrepreneur in the tech and media industries, who co-founded Viddsee, a start-up that produces and markets short, high-quality content. With a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National University of Singapore, Derek started his career building one of the earliest Internet TV platforms in Singapore with StarHub. He then headed the Business Development team for Cooliris in Asia, a Silicon Valley start-up focused on revolutionizing media engagement on the web and mobile devices. He currently leads Viddsee in realizing its vision of a flourishing ecosystem that empowers storytellers to tell compelling stories using the best technological tools available.
