Tim Guilliams

Tim Guilliams is a tech entrepreneur based in the Cambridge Cluster, known for his passion for utilizing big data and AI in accelerating treatments for rare diseases.

He is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Healx, an AI-powered tech company focused on the discovery and development of rare disease treatments at scale, raising $70M to date.

Tim's leadership at Healx has garnered numerous accolades and recognitions including being listed in Tech Nation's Future Fifty cohort, winning 5 prizes at the CogX Awards, and appearing in CB Insights Digital Health 150.

In addition to his role at Healx, he is also the Co-Founder and Trustee of the Cambridge Rare Disease Network (CRDN).

Tim holds a PhD in Biophysical Neuroscience from the University of Cambridge and an MEng in Bio- and Chemical-Engineering from the University of Brussels.

His contributions have earned him a place in prestigious lists such as The Sunday Times Maserati 100, The Telegraph's Tech 100, and In Vivo's 30 Rising Leaders in Life Sciences.
