Jesse Pollak
Jesse Pollak is an accomplished software engineer and technology leader with a demonstrated history of building successful products and R&D teams. He has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pomona College and has held various engineering roles at top tech companies such as Coinbase, Clef, BuzzFeed, and hackNY. At Coinbase, Jesse has held various leadership roles, including Head of Engineering, Retail and Director of Engineering, Consumer. Jesse helped develop numerous products, including Instant 2FA, which he later sold to Twilio.
As a software engineer at Clef, a security platform for mobile and web applications, Jesse co-founded the company, designed and led the development of the Clef mobile app, and built Clef's DevOps team from the ground up. As an intern at BuzzFeed, he used Ruby on Rails to build internal tools for the editorial team, and as a hackNY Fellow, he created a data visualization tool for an Internet Archiving Project.
Throughout his career, Jesse has honed his expertise in the areas of consumer-facing web development, DevOps, security, and retail. He is analytical and data-driven, yet passionate about creating innovative solutions to solve complex problems.
