Trip Harriss, a 14-year veteran at SpaceX, is the Senior Manager of Launch Site Mission Operations at the world's leading launch services provider. With a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Master's degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Purdue University, Trip began his career supporting the development of SpaceX's ground control software for the company's Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles. Afterward, he oversaw Falcon Recovery and Fleet Operations where he led negotiations for approval to land Falcon boosters at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, managed the build and activation of SpaceX's Landing Zone 1, and led the Falcon Recovery Team through many of SpaceX's early booster recovery successes. Throughout his career, he has managed SpaceX's growing fleet of flight-proven stages in Florida.
Today, Trip coordinates with SpaceX's government and commercial customers to manage pre-launch operations and satellite integration activities at SpaceX's launch facilities. In addition, he ensures range compliance and maintains certification for all launch systems. His exceptional career at SpaceX demonstrates his immense technical expertise, demonstrating his ability to lead teams and negotiate with high-ranking stakeholders.
