With a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, Matt has worked in various senior-level positions at leading media and technology companies including VIZIO, Instructure, DIRECTV, and Liberate Technologies.

Matt is known for his expertise in product development, product management, developer relations, third-party programs, partner evangelism, API and platform design, design thinking, interactive video, and streaming video. He is a hands-on professional with an exceptional ability to collaborate with executives and engineers to bring to life their vision, from initial concept design to deployment and follow-through. Matt is also skilled in maintaining close relationships with outside partners and helping them identify what they want to build, then working internally to create the platform that meets their needs.

In his previous roles, Matt has led technical strategy, formed influential alliances with partners, and overseen the development of interactive TV, social TV, and design thinking initiatives. As the Senior Director, Software Product Management at VIZIO, Matt brings his years of experience to lead cross-functional teams, set product objectives, and deliver world-class Smart TV experiences to consumers.
