David Simchi-Levi is an accomplished professor, author, and former chairman at Opalytics Inc. and OPS Rules, part of Accenture Analytics. He is renowned for his work in the field of supply chain management, where he has spent over two decades advising businesses and helping them implement effective strategies. Simchi-Levi studied aeronautical engineering at Technion-Israel Institute of Technology and went on to obtain his PhD in Operations Research from Tel-Aviv University. He has also served as a Chief Scientist at IBM-ILOG and ILOG, an IBM Company. Currently, he teaches at MIT.
