This role is heavily involved in holistically building operating models, co-shaping transformation and change agendas as well as forming Corporate Solutions strategy through significant involvement in strategically relevant initiatives globally and within the regions.

Operational Excellence: 
•	Lead global end to end process standardisation and improvement, reviewing, and aligning best practice globally.
•	Drive continuous improvement and ensuring scalability of processes to support efficient business growth.

Senior Global Operational Excellence Lead

Responsible for the Delegated Authority arrangements across the EMEA region for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.

The role is highly a collaborative role which includes key responsibilities such as:
•	Project management lead experience of a number of broader Group key strategic initiatives
•	Ensuring business alignment with group strategy for new opportunities and existing business,
•	Responsible for the initial new business assessment as well as taking the lead in the negotiation and construction of new and renewal business ensuring group strategy and regulatory standards are met,
•	Originating and maintaining strong and constructive internal and external senior management relationships,
•	Designing, developing and implementing an effective yet proportionate oversight for all Delegated Authority in line with Group, Risk Management and compliance frameworks,
•	Identifying pragmatic and innovative solutions to issues and challenges which may arise in the ongoing E2E management of a deal in the most cost efficient, effective and robust manner,
•	Provide support and valuable input on the economics and portfolio steering with Underwriting, actuarial and steering department to ensure sustained profitability is achieved,
•	Delivery of regular operational and performance KPI's to senior management, 
•	Ongoing stakeholder management (senior management and lower levels) to ensure consistent messages are shared whilst also being an escalation point for external senior management,
•	Ensuring Group, Regulatory, Compliance and market standards are being met, adhered to, maintained and updated within internal policies and standards.

EMEA MGA & Facilities Manager 

Performing strong technical underwriting and analysis of SME and mid-market business within Group standards. Key focus on ensuring the accurate and timely handling of Open Market (individual risks) and Delegated Authority (DA) business which includes new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals. 
Providing presentations where necessary to senior internal and external management to provide business updates and summaries in addition to leading new business and renewal meetings to ensure a full collaborative and transparent oversight of business.

Skills and Experience
•	Develop strong and sustainable relationships with brokers, direct clients, affinity relationships and associations across London and regional markets,
•	Working closely with internal and externals clients and functions to create and issue new DA agreements for new & existing opportunities,
•	Assess new opportunities on an individual risk or a new scheme proposal level, as well as reviewing all necessary aspects of Mid-term adjustments, 
•	Initial design and ongoing reviews of DA portfolios to ensure they are fit for purposes,
•	Responsible for the end to end renewal of key accounts which includes negotiating the terms, rates and construct of the offering,
•	Performing advanced data analysis to enable successful portfolio steering and pricing accuracy,
•	Ensuring a strong & effective working relationship with all internal departments such as Claims, Actuarial, Sales, Legal, Accounts, Risk Management and compliance.
•	Provide supervision of Junior Underwriters to develop understanding and knowledge, including reviewing and signing off new business and renewal terms, proposed deal structures,

The role predominately involves a high degree of front line underwriting, rating and trading with our selected Scheme and Arrangement brokers, building strong working relationships to provide a sustainable and profitable growth in business whilst delivering the expected and required service to ensure continuous results.

•	Managing portfolio’s for a number of business organisations, ensuring they are managed effectively, efficiently enabling it to run smoothly, while maintaining a strong relationship and adhering to industry and FSA guidelines.
•	Liaise professionally and proactively with business clients on a regular basis regarding any portfolio or policy queries, any on-going issues, disputes or current trends in business or industry.
