Andrew Ashton is an accomplished Visual Effects Supervisor with a noteworthy professional background in high-end broadcast commercials, music videos, virtual and augmented reality experiences, interactive media exhibits, and feature films. He is currently leading the 2D Integration, Digital Intermediate, and Finishing pipelines at Mirada Studios, where his work includes on-set visual effects supervision. With a repertoire of feature film projects including Pacific Rim, Expendables 3, and London Fields, Andrew has extensive experience creating commercial advertisements for global brands such as Lexus, Disney, Google, Amazon, and Wrigley. Andrew supervised the most-watched music video of 2014: VMA winner “Dark Horse” for Katy Perry.

In the early stages of his career, Andrew worked as a Digital Compositor at various studios such as WoodShop, Timber, and Blind, where he honed his skills in compositing, visual effects supervision, and color grading. He then went on to become a Compositing Supervisor at 21st Century Fox and Logan.tv, before becoming a VFX Supervisor at Stardust. Andrew's most recent experience as a Visual Effects Supervisor at Mirada Studios, Elastic.tv, Trailerpark Inc, and Motion Theory has enabled him to deliver cutting-edge visual effects to a wider range of clients.

Andrew aspires to enrich his skills as a 2D Pipeline Developer at Springbok Entertainment while continuing his endeavors in the visual effects industry.
