Steven Waterhouse, also known as 7, is a renowned CEO and Co-founder of the Orchid Protocol, a blockchain-based privacy tool. Waterhouse is a proficient computer scientist and an expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI), having earned a PhD in Computer Science/Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He is also a former Venture Partner at Fabric Ventures and board member at Bitstamp.

As a partner at Pantera Capital, Waterhouse focused on cryptocurrency investments and worked with startups to develop innovative products, helping them to raise capital and formulate strategies.
