Kevin Braun is an accomplished UX professional with expertise in designing useful, usable, and beautiful experiences for customers while driving meaningful business outcomes. With a BFA in electronic imaging from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Kevin has held leadership positions in a range of industries, including alternative energy, automotive, consumer electronics, healthcare, higher education, insurance, luxury apparel, and mobile devices. He has worked with industry leaders like Cox Automotive, UpToDate, Vermont Teddy Bear, Pajamagram, and Draker, delivering exceptional human-centered experiences that balance business goals with user needs and technical limitations.
As a UX strategist, researcher, and designer at Braun Interactive LLC, Kevin leverages his skills in UX strategy, experience design, user-centered design, systems design, design thinking, visual design, interaction design, user research, prototyping, persona, scenario, and use case development, divergent and convergent workshop facilitation, leadership and management, mentoring, business development, client pitches, and client relations to provide innovative solutions for his clients. He has also held leadership positions at Momentum Design Lab, Competitive Computing, Draker Laboratories, Vermont Teddy Bear Company, Mobicious.com, UpToDate, and Barrett Communications, where he has helped executive teams define goals, recruited, led, and mentored teams of designers, developers, and researchers.
Kevin has received industry recognition for his work, including doubling user engagement for the systems he helped design at Cox Automotive and winning a Bloomberg New Energy Pioneer Award for his work at Draker. He is also an experienced educator, having taught as Adjunct Faculty - User Centered Design at Champlain College and authored a book on UX design published by Wiley.
