Veronica Belmont is a well-known product manager, podcaster, and technology expert based in San Francisco. Born and raised in the USA, Belmont studied Audio Production and New Media at Emerson College, where she received a Cum Laude honors degree. Later, she pursued a career in the tech industry, working for companies such as IBM, Intel, Sony, AOL, and others as a presenter, advisor, and public speaker.
As a podcaster, Belmont gained recognition for her work on Mozilla's IRL: Online Life is Real Life, where she explored how technology and the internet shape people's existence. She is also one of the co-hosts of the Hugo-nominated Sword & Laser podcast, where she talks about science fiction and fantasy, interviews authors, and recommends monthly book picks.
