Chuck Gerhardt is a highly experienced and versatile technology professional with a wealth of knowledge in application development and performance tuning. He is a problem solver with a broad and deep technical skillset that comes from years of experience in the field. His areas of expertise include Murex, Sybase, Oracle, Perl, PHP, rapid application development, performance and tuning, application stabilization, application development/integration, production deployment, project management, and security.

Throughout his career, Chuck has worked for a range of companies, from Shell Trading to JP Morgan Chase to Lehman Brothers. He has lent his skills to a variety of projects, including working as a Sybase DBA, performance analyst, Linux & Solaris administrator and Oracle DBA, OpenLink developer & performance tuner, and Murex infrastructure SME.

Chuck earned his BS from the University of Detroit Mercy and studied at Gabriel Richard. He is also an accomplished consultant, having served in that capacity for undisclosed clients. Chuck is a no-nonsense problem solver who is always open to new challenges and opportunities.
