Tim Nelson, PE brings years of experience and technical expertise in mechanical engineering to the Industrial/Energy and Utilities Team at AEI. With a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tim provides analysis and design of mechanical systems, including load calculations, equipment and material selection, layout, sizing, and control diagrams. Prior to joining AEI, Tim worked at the University of Arizona Lunar and Planetary Laboratory as an Engineering Intern.

At AEI, Tim has held various positions, starting as an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer and eventually earning the title of Mechanical Engineer II. Throughout his time at AEI, Tim has proven himself to be a valuable team member, adept at solving complex problems and delivering high-quality results.
