Nancy Ford

Nancy Ford is a seasoned talent acquisition expert with a diverse background in human resources and management. She studied BCA, Human Resources & Industrial Relations, and Management at Victoria University of Wellington. With years of experience in recruitment, Nancy has held various roles such as Talent Acquisition Manager at Pāmu™ and Senior Advisor, Strategic Sourcing at MPI - Ministry for Primary Industries (NZ). Currently, she is the Programme Lead of GovTech Talent, a digital graduate program for public sector professionals at the Department of Internal Affairs in New Zealand.

Nancy's career began as a Script Typist at Twentieth Century Fox and later, as Assistant to the Producer at Lawrence Schiller Productions. She also worked as an Office Manager at Alliance Bernstein New Zealand Limited, Senior Executive Recruiter / Social Media - Blogging Manager at The Creative Network, Inc., and Legal Secretary at Warner Bros. Entertainment Group of Companies.

Nancy's experience highlights her expertise in recruitment, talent acquisition and retention, strategy development, and HR management. She also demonstrates expertise in sourcing and recruitment for various sectors such as agriculture, government, and primary industries. As the Programme Lead of GovTech Talent, Nancy supports aspiring public sector candidates to acquire digital skills and be part of New Zealand's innovation and digital transformation initiatives.
