Marshall Katz is a Senior Electrical Engineer at Microsoft with a background in RF and microwave design. He was previously an Electrical Designer and RF Designer at Research In Motion and a College Intern and Coop Student Worker at Cisco. Marshall specializes in GPS, GSM, UMTS, and NFC technologies and is responsible for implementing new technologies to reduce power consumption and increase performance. He works with a small team that provides him with exposure to different radio technologies in the phone.
