Jon Cioschi is a tireless Philadelphia-based attorney and community organizer with a passion for social justice. After graduating magna cum laude from Columbia College and earning a J.D. from Harvard Law School, Jon has dedicated his career to advocating for the rights of marginalized people and fighting against the injustices of the carceral state.

Jon has worked with a variety of prestigious legal organizations, starting as a legal intern with the ACLU and the Federal Community Defender of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Capital Habeas Unit. He went on to hold positions including Assistant Public Defender at Defender Association of Philadelphia, Law Clerk at U.S. Courts of Appeals, and Rule 3:03 Student Attorney at the Harvard Criminal Justice Institute. He has experience in several different areas of legal practice, such as Predatory Lending/Consumer Protection Clinical Student at WilmerHale Legal Services Center, Public Benefits, and Welfare Law Unit Intern at Community Legal Services of Philadelphia, and Legal Clerk (Trial Division) at Public Defender Service.

Currently, Jon works as an Associate Attorney at Wiseman and Schwartz, P.C., taking on cases that focus on protecting the civil rights of Philadelphians. He has also been an Investigator at the NYC Civilian Complaint Review Board and interned with the ACLU's Criminal Law Reform Project and Project Dawn Court Intern at Defenders Association of Philadelphia.
