Eric Lavin is on a mission to revolutionize education by making it more future-focused and centered on the learner. With a Bachelor of Arts in International Political Economy from Tulane University, Eric has worked with numerous organizations over the years, bringing innovation and expertise to each role. His areas of expertise include learning design, business modeling, product development, marketing strategy, team formation, and leadership coaching. He believes in backing ambitious pre/seed ed tech founders with money and his time.
Eric has worked in various organizations, including being a former Co-founder at Ideafire, Advisor at CapSource Education, Head of R&D at Chicago International Charter School, and Founding Manager of Aspen Innovation Lab at The Aspen Institute. Additionally, he was a Co-founder, Head of R&D & Board member at Whetstone Education and Entrepreneur in Residence at PICO Ventures. He has also worked as a strategic advisor at several institutions, including SchoolMint, and Arizona State University. Eric was also a 9th Grade Civics Teacher at Teach for America.
