Torri Rinker is a highly experienced bioengineer with a passion for science education and outreach. She earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Georgia Tech and her Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Oregon State University. Torri has made significant contributions to the biomaterial field, with a focus on micro- and nanoparticle drug and protein delivery systems. She has published numerous papers on the subject and has worked on drug discovery projects at Nautilus Biotechnology as a Senior Scientist, Technical Lead, and Manager of the Platform Integration Team. Torri has also conducted postdoc research at Sandia National Laboratories and interned at Stanford University and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
