Kathryn Wendell is a seasoned expert in sustainable development, corporate social responsibility, and entrepreneurship with over 20 years of experience leading projects all around the globe. Her professional background includes working as a Global Social Performance Advisor at Chevron Corporation, managing corporate social responsibility, and community engagement initiatives in countries like Ecuador, Latin America, and many other parts of the world. Kathryn was also the Director of Program Delivery at Stanford University's Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (Stanford Seed), where she managed core operations that supported innovation centers in Africa and India. Kathryn had previously worked as a Sustainable Development Specialist at the World Bank, Program Manager at the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA), Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador, and Microloan Officer at Accion. Kathryn is a graduate of renowned universities such as Yale, UC Berkeley’s Walter A. Haas School of Business, and Dartmouth College.

Kathryn is an avid traveler and has visited over 75 countries around the world. She specializes in corporate social responsibility, community engagement, social performance, sustainable supply chain, sustainability, international development, natural resource management, social investment, social entrepreneurship, community relations, Indigenous Peoples, microfinance, sustainable development, public-private partnerships, and protected areas. Currently, Kathryn serves as a Board Member at Kennebunkport Climate Initiative, where she leverages her expertise to help launch climate initiatives.
