With over two decades of experience, Piper has honed a skill set that combines finance, legal, corporate development, and team building. He has a track record of building and scaling innovative businesses that are committed to their mission. His core competencies include but are not limited to mission to strategic alignment, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, competitive analysis, and IT systems selection and management.

Prior to founding TWP Strategic, Piper worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Compute North, Interim Chief Executive Officer at Livio Health Group, and Strategic Advisor at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota. At RobertsonPiper Software Group, he fulfilled multiple roles, including President & CFO of CAM Commerce Solutions and Opus-ISM. He also served as the Founder, President, CFO, and Board of Directors member of RobertsonPiper Software Group.

At Piper Jaffray & Co, Piper was a Sr. Research Analyst and Associate Investment Banker. He began his career as an Investment Manager and Trader at Cargill Financial Services Asia and later took on the role of Fund Manager at Edinburgh Fund Managers.

Piper's varied and extensive career has given him expertise in energy transition/demand response, crypto/blockchain, capital formation, corporate strategy and planning, legal contract negotiations, process analysis and improvement, as well as verbal, written, and media communication.
