Chris Oatley is an accomplished visual development artist and illustrator with extensive experience in the animation, video game, and music industries. Having worked with high-profile companies such as Disney, Universal, and Activision, he has contributed artistically to numerous animated films, TV shows, video games, and music videos. Chris has also worked as a creative technology consultant at Amazon, BLT Communications, and Adobe, providing specialized software solutions and processes for art and story departments. Currently, he serves as an illustrator at Disney Theatrical Productions and character designer for Disney Television Animation while directing The Oatley Academy Of Visual Storytelling.

Chris has studied Bachelor of Fine Arts- BFA, Illustration at the Columbus College of Art & Design, and has taught courses in Visual Development, Color Theory, Character Design, Social Media, Digital Painting, and Visual Storytelling. He has also served as a guest speaker at various art and film schools across North America. Chris's life mission is to elevate and empower visual storytellers to cultivate empathy and healing in the world.
